God has been good. We had a fabulous Easter. It was so fun to dress the baby up and see mom's excitement to have a grandbaby for Easter. Oh course Haidyn got an Easter basket complete not only with animal crackers and toys for her but also chocolates for mommy and daddy.
Some of Ken's family from California and Alabama have been in town the past couple of days. Its so awesome that mom is finally feeling up to activities. She is now working everyday and most of everyday. Praise God!
Now we have to get Ken better. For those that don't know, he has had a cough since the fall. Mom and I have fussed at him non-stop. He finally had a doctor's appointment at the end of last week. He got a prescription cough syrup and mom said that was the first night she can remember in a long time that he didn't cough all night. Hopefully they will be able to pin point what the problem is and we can get him better now that mom is feeling better.
They are getting very excited about planning a vacation. I'm not sure that they know exactly where they are headed but if I had my guess, I would say they will probably end up on an island where they will have sun, sand and surf. They have finally come around to my kind of vacations! When I lived at home they always wanted to go to places that were jammed pack full of sightseeing. I want to relax when I'm on vacation and I'm so glad that seems to be what they are planning on doing.

Thank you again, Emily, for the great report on your Mom. I have been wondering how she was since leaving there. Glad she is feeling up to working and planning a vacation, too.
